EV Questions

How fast will it charge?
A 7kW home charger is 3x faster than a 3-pin plug, typically fully charging a standard EV in 6-8 hours (overnight).
Do I need to upgrade my fuse box?
Not always. We perform a load check during the survey. If load management is needed (to prevent tripping your main fuse), our smart chargers handle this automatically.
Can I install it myself?
No. EV chargers must be installed by a qualified electrician and notified to the DNO (Distribution Network Operator) to ensure safety and legality.
Which cables do I need?
Most modern home chargers are "Type 2". You can choose "Tethered" (cable attached) for convenience, or "Untethered" (socket only) for a neater look.
