No Sales Reps.
Just Experts.

At Starks Solar, we believe you should speak to the people who actually design and install your system—not a call centre script reader.

When you contact us, you get direct access to our in-house team of qualified electricians and solar engineers. We provide honest, technical advice tailored to your home.

Common Questions

Can you give me a price over the phone?
Because we design bespoke systems, cable lengths and runs are different on every property, so we simply cannot give out a concrete cost without seeing the home. However, we do have a quoting tool to give you a rough idea of costs. For a fixed price, we recommend a free site survey.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. This is a common issue in the industry, but at Starks Solar, we only use our own in-house team of employed electricians and roofers. This ensures we maintain our 30-Year Workmanship Warranty standards.
How long does installation take?
Most residential systems are installed and commissioned within 1-2 days with minimal disruption to your home. We handle all the scaffolding, electrical work, and rubbish removal.
What happens if I have a problem later?
You call us, and we answer. Unlike national call centres, we are a local Dorset-based team. We offer full ongoing support and monitoring to ensure your system performs perfectly for decades.
Do I need planning permission?
In 99% of cases, no. Solar panel installation falls under 'Permitted Development'. We will verify this during your survey, especially if you live in a Conservation Area or Listed Building.
